| NEA Representative Assembly, July 1-6, 2009 |

The NEA Representative Assembly (RA) is held each year from July 1-6th! This year the RA was held in San Diego, where over 8,500 delegates representing associations from across the country met to decide the path that NEA will take on policies and issues for the coming year. WDEA sent 5 delegates to represent our association: Darrin Squire, Laurie Richards, Sara Hester, Nancy Putman, and Chandra Beck. The event was amazing! Issues were debated and decisions were made! It is truly amazing to know that the members really do decide the path our organization will take!
