| WDEA and WESD paired up to support the AEA March4Schools event, a statewide action, on March 4th ,2010. The principals and site reps helped to organize the staff in walks throughout the community to send the message to the public to support education. Armed with yellow balloons, March4Schools t-shirts and door hangers WESD employees walked the streets of their neighborhoods making residents aware that we need the community to take action! The district legislator’s direct contact information gave the chance for the community respond to their representatives down at the Capital about education. March4Schools got everyone outside walking and talking in support of the students of Washington Elementary School District! A great THANKS goes out to all that were involved! |
